Poem 64- YOU HAVE LEFT YOUR FIRST LOVE

Y– You have left your First Love, the sweet Lord Jesus Christ, you used to call Him always, the Apple of your eyes.

O– Oh, why have you done that, you are unfaithful now, you have forgotten your First Love, the God that is above.

U– Uh, you can afford now, to call on Other/other names, you have left your First Love, the sweet Lord Jesus Christ.

***

H– Have you now forgotten, the name above all names, there really is no Other/other, Jesus- your Lord and Master.

A– Ah, His name was sweet then, you had much miracles, your needs were met by Jesus, now you left your First Love.

V– Verily, oh verily, Christ’s name then was so sweet, you have invoked much prayers, you’ve honored much Christ’s name.

E– Even in your troubles, even in your woes, the name of Jesus was honored, now you have left your First Love.

***

L– Love the “Good” Lord Jesus, love the Lord your God, and do not be unfaithful, is Jesus still your Lord?

E– Ey, you think you’re blessed, you do not love the Lord, you do not love the Master, He is no longer Lord!

F– You have honored people, you have honored priests, now, you’re just men-pleaser, is Jesus still your Lord?

T– Think well your past lessons, whose name have you called, now you’re just men-pleaser, Christ is no longer Lord!!!

***

Y– Yes, you say you are Hope, have you not been so cold, have you not taken the honors, have you not carried the applause?

O– Oh, where is your Jesus, oh, where is your Lord, He is there at the tail end, a name that you just use!!!

U– Uh, He saved you from much troubles, He saved you from much woes, now you are so bloated, exalted human lord.

R– Recollect the past experiences, in whose Name have you healed, in whose Name have you called upon, are you still drunk right now?

***

F– First Love is Christ Jesus, First Love is the Lord, there’s no Other/other name above all Others/others, but Jesus Christ the Lord.

I– I am all for Jesus, I am all for Christ, Jesus is my First Love, His name- I lift it up.

R– Regard not pastors, preachers, who speak in Jesus’ name, but still pray to the Father, so prideful, full of shame.

S– Seek the sweet Lord Jesus, seek the Lord your God, and do not boast of yourselves, the efforts you have made.

T– Take your Bibles right now, read them well and good, whose name was ever mentioned, when sweet saints made their prayers?

***

L– Love the “Good” Lord Jesus, love the Lord your God, and don’t boast of your efforts, Christ Jesus you exalt.

O– Oh, you’re good at numbers, you count and count and count, but Jesus is not delighted, your prayers are all for nought.

V– Verily, oh verily, regard not lying priests, regard not lying pastors, who take the honor of Christ.

E– Efforts best you do now, to lift the name of Christ, and do not leave your First Love, remember well your past.
