Explanations: Jesus is the true Vine being taught in the Bible, while the branches are both His adherents-followers-believers and those who are not (therefore, sinners). – John 15:1-6

As the Vine where His followers-adherents-believers-saints ought to remain-abide-dwell-stay (John 15:4), Jesus had to identify Himself as the true Vine (John 15:1).

You see, there is a very good reason why Jesus had to call Himself the true Vine.

According to Jesus, there are 2 kinds of branches of the true Vine (John 15:2). The 1st one are those who don’t bear fruit/s (fruitless, therefore, useless-unprofitable). The 2nd one are those who bear fruits (fruitful, therefore, useful-profitable).

God the Father (the Husbandman-Land Worker-Farmer-Gardener) removes from the true Vine the fruitless branches, while He gets to purge-prune-trim the fruitful ones that these branches may be more fruitful.

Jesus had to say, that if someone does not remain-abide-dwell-stay in Him, that one is cast forth (therefore, thrown on the ground) as a branch, is made to wither to be gathered by men, and to be thrown into the fire for burning (John 15:6). Thus, the fires of Hell & the Lake of Fire are their portion and/or destiny.

Several years back, my dad had a friend owning a vineyard who gave him lots of branches of a grape tree (or a vine), each of the branches about 2/3rd or 3/4th the length of a foot. He had to instruct my dad to have those branches planted, for in due time, those same branches will grow into new vines, producing their own fruits.

It is characteristic of the branches of a vine to live independently by itself (and later turn into vines producing fruits), once severed-removed-cut off from its vine, for as long as it would be planted in a suitable environment, with adequate nourishment.

Jesus intently used the analogy or comparison between the vine and its branches to that of Himself and the people.

If anyone does not remain-abide-dwell-stay in Jesus (the true Vine), that one will the Father remove from Jesus, and will be thrown on the ground as a branch of the Vine, which will not be planted in a suitable environment and nourished, but rather, made to dry, picked up and thrown into the fire to be burned, just to make it sure, that it will not live-survive-thrive by itself, for apart-separate-away from Jesus (the true Vine), we are nothing-useless-vain-empty-void-fruitless-unprofitable-trash-garbage (John 15:4-5).

Do you want to be a counterfeit vine? Jesus won’t allow that! You will be made to wither and dry up. Jesus doesn’t want us to live independently from Him. He alone is the true Vine. We must reside-domicile-home-dwell-abide-remain-stay in Him.

Where should the direct attachment of the branches be? To the true Vine or to the Husbandman? To the LORD Jesus Christ or to God the Father? Will the branches be nourished-nurtured-sustained if you will directly attach them to the Farmer? Will they survive? Have you ever seen a living grape branch directly attached to a Farmer? How about a fruit bearing one?

Jesus alone is the Door (symbolic, of course) of the sheep (John 10:9, 7).

Jesus alone is the Champion-Hero-Warrior God. This account is rendered in English as the Mighty God (Isaiah 9:6). El Gibbor in Hebrew. Thus, when we address Jesus as the Mighty God, we are saying that He is the Champion-Hero-Warrior God, and not as some people think that He is less than being Almighty (Revelation 1:7-8; Exodus 6:2-3).

Jesus alone created all things and He’s also the One who will make the New Heavens & the New Earth (Revelation 21:1-7).

God the Father alone is the permanently invisible God/Godkind to all the createdkinds (John 1:18; 1 John 4:12: 1 Timothy 6:16; John 6:46).

God the Holy Spirit alone is the permanently symbolic God/Godkind to all the createdkinds (Matthew 3:16B; John 7:38-39; Acts 2:2-4; Revelation 1:4C; 4:5).

Jesus alone is the Personally appearing God/Godkind to all the createdkinds (Exodus 3:14-16; John 8:56-59; Genesis 32:24-30; Exodus 6:2-3; Matthew 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 1:7-8).

Oh, we shall behold Jesus face to face!!!

The God/Godkind before Whom we shall appear to be judged on judgment day is none Other than the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10), since God the Father judges no man, but had committed all judgments unto His own (Romans 8:3, 32) beloved Son (John 5:22).
